Who we are

Flownomic ("we", "us") is a local SEO agency based in Alpine, Utah, United States. This policy covers flownomic.ai (the "Site"), our free local visibility check, and how we handle information from people who contact us. Questions or requests: email hello@flownomic.ai or call (801) 831-8234.

What we collect

What you send us. Your name, email, phone, business name, website and message when you use our contact form, run the free check or book a call.
Free check answers. Your answers to the check's questions, your business name, city, type of business, number of locations and website.
Public business information. To run the free check, we look up public information about the business you enter: its Google Business Profile and Google Maps listing (rating, reviews, photos, posts), its position in Google search results, its website (we read the homepage and sitemap and run a speed test), links to it from other websites, search volumes for its services, and whether ChatGPT names it. We also look at the public listings of nearby competitors. This is information about businesses, not about you personally.
How you found us. The page you first landed on, the site that sent you, campaign tags in the link and the pages you viewed before contacting us. We store this in first-party cookies (see below) and attach it to your form so we know which marketing works.
Site analytics. Google Analytics records pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser type, and approximate location. We also turn on Google signals, which lets Google add anonymous, combined reports (such as age range, interests and visits across devices) for visitors signed in to a Google account who allowed this in their Google settings. We never see who those visitors are, and we do not use analytics to identify you personally. You can control this in your Google ad settings or with the choices below.
Technical data. Our servers log IP addresses and request details for security, to prevent abuse and to limit how often the free check can run.

How we use it

To answer your questions and deliver the services you ask for.
To run your free check, email you your report and follow up about it.
To understand which pages and marketing bring people to us, and to improve the Site.
To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run ads targeted to you based on your visits.

Who helps us

These providers process information on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

Railway: hosts the Site and its servers (United States).
Resend: sends our emails, including your free check report and the notice we receive when you contact us.
DataForSEO: runs the public Google Maps, Google search, review, website, link, search volume and ChatGPT lookups for the free check. It receives the business details you enter, not your name or email.
OpenAI (ChatGPT): answers one question about businesses in your city, through DataForSEO. It receives the type of business and city only.
Google: Google Analytics for site analytics, and Google PageSpeed Insights for the website speed test.
Cal.com: schedules calls you book with us, under its own privacy policy.
Stripe: processes payments when you sign up for a plan. We never see or store your full card number.
Supabase: stores our customer records (our CRM), including the leads and details listed above.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

Cookies

fl_ft, fl_lt, fl_path (ours, 180 days): how you first and last found us and the pages you viewed, sent with your form.
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, up to 2 years): count visits and pages viewed.
fl_optout (ours, 1 year): remembers that you turned analytics off.

We do not use advertising cookies. Previews of the Site on other addresses load no analytics at all.

Your privacy choices

You can turn off analytics and our attribution cookies on this browser. We also honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, analytics stays off automatically.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it or give you a copy. Residents of California, Utah, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut and other US states with privacy laws, and people in the EU and UK, have these rights by law, along with the right to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising (we do none of these) and to not be treated differently for using their rights. To make a request, email hello@flownomic.ai with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm we received it within 10 days and respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject, and we will respond within 45 days.

How long we keep it

Contact form and free check leads: up to 3 years after our last contact, then deleted, unless you become a client.
Client records: for as long as you are a client and up to 7 years after, for tax and legal reasons.
Free check results on our servers: about 1 hour, just long enough to build and email your report.
Analytics: 14 months, the retention set in Google Analytics.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to the people and providers who need it. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Updates

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
